Frequency Coordination
When using more than 1 radio microphone, you need to be sure they work on different frequencies that are sufficiently spaced to prevent interference between the systems. However, it is not as simple as spacing out all your systems at equal spacing - there is a complex mathematical formula to avoid interference between systems (called intermodulation).
Therefore we provide pre-set 'BANKS' of frequencies which are ok to work together.
For example, if you use all frequencies on pre-set 'CHANNELS' in 'BANK 1', they should all work together. If you try to mix 'CHANNELS' from different 'BANKS' you will most likely run into issues.
The 'BANK', 'CHANNEL, and 'FREQUENCY' are all displayed on the receiver.
Antenna Distribution
You should also look at your antenna set up - if you are using lots of systems and all the receivers are stacked together, then adding antenna distribution to the system has advantages in improving reception at the receiver.
You only need to connect one pair of antennas to the distribution system, and in turn that is connected to all of the receivers. It helps to prevent any issues that can be caused by having lots of antennas close together. It is also easier to run remote antennas, which is especially important if your receiver is inside a metal rack!
