Your system consists of a transmitter (the portable part, like handheld transmitter, bodypack or plug on) and a receiver (either rack-mounted or bodypack/camera mounted).
The frequency on the transmitter and receiver must be the same for them to work. Frequency is in MHz (megahertz) and is displayed on both units.
Receiver Frequency on the main display:

Transmitter frequency:

The receiver and transmitter need to be on the same frequency to operate together.
Our radio microphone systems are available in several different hardware ranges - you can check the hardware range on the device label (or if the label is missing you can use the 'tune' function in the menu to find the upper and lower frequency of your device).
So long as the transmitter and receiver are in the same hardware range, then you can tune them to the same frequency using the 'TUNE' or 'BANK'+'CHANNEL' options in the menu. You will find different 'BANKS' (groups) of frequencies. Each 'BANK' has several 'CHANNELS'. If you are working with a multichannel system then you should only use channels from the same bank to ensure they will all work together.
Note - you need to be sure that the frequency you are using is allowed under the regulations in your country. Please refer to your local regulatory authority for more information. You can also check on our International Frequency Advisor for more information
You can also use the "SYNC" feature to match the transmitter to the receiver - first set the receiver to the frequency you want, then press the sync button on the receiver and hold the transmitter screen in front of the receiver screen - the communication is via infrared so both devices must be close together (about 10cm away).
