Once your base station is updated to the most current firmware, and your base stations license has been activated, you are now ready to start creating a production.
Creating a new production
- Click CREATE NEW to start a new production, a dialog box will open where you will name your production.
- Click the + on the base stations header to add a base station.
- You will need to know your base station's IP address. Once your base station is located, click ADD
- Once added, you will get a dialog box asking if you keep current configuration stored on the base station, if this is your first time adding a base station you can add base station as configured.
- The last step in adding your base station, is configuring RF, in the dialog box that appears click configure RF.
- In the Configure RF dialog box, you will need to add an antenna, set your desired RF power (10mW, 20mW, 30mW, 50mW or 100mW), you will also need to set you start frequency for your 6MHz block. You can always do a scan to see what area is the clearest and come back and adjust this.
- Once your RF Channel is configured, you are now ready to pair your Mobile Devices (SEK). Click the + on Mobile Devices,
- The Add Mobile Devices dialog box will open. Make sure your RF channel is unmuted and click pairing mode to enable pairing mode on the base station.
- Next, while your SEK is off, Press and hold the power button until the light turns blue to enable pairing mode on the SEK. once the Base Station sees the SEK, click the blue + to add it.
- Next Click on confirm to successfully pair your SEK with Base Station.
- At this point your SEK is paired with your Base Station and you are able to now set your Audio Link mode. Go ahead and turn off pairing mode and you can now close the Add Mobile Devices dialog box.
- When Back at the Main page, click on the paired SEK and its setting will then show on the right, if your scroll down to Input IEM/IFB.
- Click on Edit Routes and the Routing Editor will appear. Here you can set if you are using Dante or Madi, Stereo or Mono. If you click on the down arrow, under Audio Link Mode, a drop-down menu will appear with the various Audio Link Modes, pick your desired mode to set your audio route. At this point you are set, you can also click Mic under where it says Mobile devices and set your Audio link mode for your Input if you have one.
- You are now able to patch to your audio console or DSP to test and adjust audio levels
