If you are having a problem connecting to your EW D or EW DP system using Smart Assist on your phone, please try the following:
- Ensure your Smart Assist app version is fully up to date from Google Play / App Store.
- In your phone's Bluetooth settings, try disconnecting the EW D or DP system, and then re-discovering/re-pairing it.
- As basic as it sounds, try restarting your phone and reconnecting your device after a reboot.
Issues connecting can be the result of long phone uptimes, where a simple power cycling can resolve it.
- If none of the above works, it's worth trying testing another device for connection to rule out something device specific.
From there, ensure all wireless system firmware is up to date once connected.
Also doublecheck that the phone having connection issues is up to date as well.
