Follow the instructions below for scanning for new frequencies and synchronising your transmitter and receiver in XSW 1 systems: 

1. Start off by turning on the receiver, and turning off all the transmitters
2. On the receiver, make sure the squelch knob in the back is set to the lowest setting possible.
3. Back on the receiver, press and hold the SET SCAN button for 3 seconds until the numbers on the display start rotating, this means the unit is scanning.
4. After the scan is completed, the number will start blinking waiting for the user to accept the new frequency, simply press the SET SCAN button once to set a new frequency.
5. Turn on the transmitter and sync it to the receiver. This can be achieved by pressing and holding the SYNC button on the transmitter until the on/off button start flashing red and green. This means the transmitter is in sync mode.
6. Move the receiver and press the SYNC button once to accept the sync. This will send the info of the receiver to the transmitter.
7. Raise the squelch knob on the back of the receiver to the middle position once you have selected a clean frequency.
