Follow the instructions below for scanning for new frequencies and synchronising your transmitter and receiver in XSW 2 systems:
To perform and autoscan and synchronization please try the following:
- To start, turn off your microphone transmitter.
- Reduce the Squelch dial on the back of the receiver, which when doing prior to a scan will find the cleanest frequencies available. This should be down all the way or close to all the way (7-8:00 position on the dial)
- To perform a frequency scan on the XSW 2 follow these steps:
- Press the "UP" or "DOWN" button to scroll through the menu options on the receiver.
- Press the "SET" button to select the SCAN option. NOTE: The unit automatically selects the next available unused frequency.
- After scanning, bring the Squelch dial back up to the 12:00 default position.
- Once the new frequency is selected on the receiver the transmitter needs to by synced to the receiver. To do this follow these steps:
- Press and hold the "SYNC" button on the transmitter until the "SYNC" symbol flashes on the receiver.
- Press the "SYNC" button on the receiver.
NOTE: If a frequency SCAN is performed and no available frequencies are found then the SQUELCH setting will need to be increased. Once the SQUELCH setting has been increased repeat the steps of the frequency scan and then SYNC accordingly.
